Brothers Wayne and Dwayne Caines are raising money for charity again, this time with a basketball tournament.
The tournament will be held on Saturday night at CedarBridge Academy.
Dwayne Caines explained the initiative.
“As you know in August, the Caines Brothers partnered with 5 Star Barbershop to create an opportunity for families who had difficulty financing haircuts and schools supplies to have that burden for the new school year lifted.
“We will now host a three-on-three basketball tournament.
“The aim is to raise money for The Family Centre, a front line organization that works tirelessly for Bermuda and they need our support.”
He continued: “This event is in keeping with the our philosophy of uniting the community, and creating opportunities for the best of Bermuda to be showcased.
“The basketball tournament will take place at CedarBridge Academy on this coming Saturday night November 16th, from 6pm until 10pm.
“Admission is only $5 and team entry fee is $40. Food will be on sale and all proceeds will go to the Family Centre.
“Also taking place on the night will be a three-point competition and a slam dunk competition.”
The event is being sponsored by Digicel and CedarBridge. There will be giveaways all night.
