Bermudian Laetitia Parfitt will be moving from AGCS in London to join the team in Dubai as a Liability Underwriter on November 1.
Ms Parfitt joined AGCS London in operations over five years ago and was promoted to the role of assistant liability underwriter in 2009. Soon after this she took on the responsibilities and role of liability underwriter writing across a variety of trade groups and covers.
She has been actively involved in promoting AGCS and helping drive underwriting projects. Her role in Dubai will be to actively grow and develop the existing liability book of business and explore new product development opportunities.
She will be working closely with Sanjeev Badyal, CEO, and Rehan Hussain, head of market management, to achieve this.
Michael Hohmann, global head of Liability, said in a press release: “I am confident that Laetitia will be successful because of her enthusiasm and hard work and I wish her every success in this new role.’
Tim Galloway, regional head of liability, added: ‘This is an excellent opportunity for Laetitia to continue to develop her skills and experience working in a different insurance market. I am pleased that she has taken this opportunity within AGCS and stays part of Regional Unit London.”
