MORE PINK BDA today announced the launch of their new web site, www.morepinkbda.bm. The website will be a central focus of the MORE PINK BDA movement. The public can easily learn about about the movement, its aims and goals, get involved and read about MORE PINK stories in our community. With the new web site, MORE PINK BDA hopes to encourage people to share their thoughts on why Bermuda is so much MORE and to spark a MORE PINK attitude throughout the island.

“In these difficult times, it has never been more important to have a sense of community. By supporting our entrepreneurs, community events and sending positive messages to our schools we hope to spread a MORE PINK attitude,” comments Joanne MacPhee, Chair of the Tourism Appreciation Committee.

The primary goal of MORE PINK BDA is to reignite and inspire a sense of pride in Bermuda that results in all residents becoming natural ambassadors for our Island. The committee is focusing its efforts on Bermuda’s greatest tourism asset: its people. Having captured the attention of the island through a creative gorilla campaign over the Summer, it is now launching its website and saying “it is time to get real and get talking about what we can do to make Bermuda truly MORE”.

“We appreciate that you can’t tell someone to be proud. You have to make them feel it. That’s why we are supporting our local talent, surprising our residents and trying to make them see Bermuda in a more positive light. Our social pages, and now website, are all about sharing stories about why Bermuda is so much MORE. MORE PINK BDA is a mindset. Anyone who loves our island and is proactively trying to make it better has a MORE PINK BDA attitude,” Ms. MacPhee explains.

“It is critical that the importance of tourism becomes ingrained in the hearts and minds of all the residents of Bermuda. The MORE PINK BDA website makes it easier to hear from everyone about what they are doing and what we all can do to make Bermuda the best it can be,” concludes David Dodwell, chairman designate of the Bermuda Tourism Authority.
