Nothing influences your health more than food

What should I eat?

This question may be the most important question in nutrition. The reason is pure and simple; there is no greater influence on your health than the food you eat.

Food is the most powerful drug on Earth. You eat it several times a day, every day of your life. The body uses the compounds in food as the fuel for life.

I use the Metabolic Typing Plan with all my clients. It’s unique to each individual and is based on the rate at which nutrients are converted to energy within all of your body’s 100 trillion cells.

The influence of nutrients and foods on each Metabolic Type is what makes nutrition so confusing. Without Metabolic Typing it’s a matter of a roll of the dice. This is the reason that “one man’s food is another man’s poison” because what can heal one person can worsen the same condition in another person.

Once you fill out a questionnaire and figure out your Metabolic Type the programme is easy to follow. Just stick to your recommended food list as closely as you can. You don’t need to weigh your foods, measure out serving sizes or count calories. Eat according to your appetite and at least three meals a day. Snack if you need to and always try to eat before you get hungry to stabilize your blood sugar.

Eat some protein with each food intake.
