Dominique Mayho heads an eight-strong team of cyclists who will represent Bermuda in the road cycling events at the Natwest Island Games this July.
The Bermuda Bicycle Association had previously announced the mountain bike team.
Reigning Cyclist of the Year Mayho was an easy choice for the selectors. Also picked was Shannon Lawrence who won the Bacardi Time Trial on Sunday, former pro cyclist Geri Mewett, Darren Glasford and Johan Viver.
Nicole Mitchell, Karen Bordage and Earlena Ingham with make up the women’s team.
Teams are restricted to five men and three women at the Island Games.
All competitors will participate in the three road race events; a road race on Sunday, July 14, a time trial on Tuesday, July 16 and the finale will be a criterium in Hamilton on the evening of Thursday, July 18.
The previously announced mountain bikers are Mark Hatherley, Chequan Richardson, Deshi Smith, Brien Steinhoff and Phil Trussell.
There is no women’s mountain bike event at this year’s Island Games.
