Bank of Butterfield buys back one million shares

The Bank of NT Butterfield & Son Limited announced it purchased for Treasury 1,080,774 commons shares in April at an average cost of $1.40 per share.

No 8% preferred shares were bought in April for the Buy Back Programme.

The company announced a new share buy back programme for this fiscal year after starting one in 2012.
