We will be updating on the 15's (every 15 minutes for this match).

5:51pm And just like that it's over. 224. Malachi claims the last wicket and hope is rekindled for Bermuda. Nepal beat Oman and Uganda beat the US handily. Oman and Italy are now the bottom two teams with one win each. Bermuda, USA and Nepal are fighting to join Uganda in promotion to Division 2. Saturday's match-ups: Bermuda v US at the National Sports Centre; Nepal v Italy at St David's and Uganda v Oman at Somerset. Thanks for following us today.

5:45pm: 223/9 (43.5) One wicket left for Italy to get 28 runs. This could be a nail-biter.

5:30pm 200/7 (42.1) Italy are not going down without a fight. A couple of expensive overs for Bermuda have heightened the tension of this match.

5:15pm: Italy 176/7 (40.0) Rodney gets his second wicket of the day and Bermuda is into the tail end.

5pm: Italy 142/5 (36.2) Trott picks up a wicket as Italy now need more than 10 runs an over to catch Bermuda.

4:45pm: Italy 137/4 (34.5) Bermuda doing its best to keep the run rate high for Italy. Robinson and Trott have wickets along with Janeiro's two.

4:30pm: Italy 111/4 (30.2) Bermuda's bowlers doing a great job of restricting Italy. The required run rate is 8.82.

4:15pm: Italy 97/3 (26.2) Italy is slowly falling behind the run rate and if they don't pick it up, Bermuda is going to have an easy win.

4pm: Italy 85/3 (20.4) Crowly out lbw to Trott. The required run rate is 6.86.

3:45pm: Italy 75/2 (18.0) The required run rate has creeped up to 6.56 but Italy is building a solid foundation.

3:30pm: Italy 49/2 (13.1) The required run rate for Italy is 6.40.

3:15pm: Italy 30/2 (9.5) chasing 250.

3pm: Italy 17/2 (4.5) Tucker claims his second victim. 2-0-5-2. A great start for Bermuda's bowlers.

2:45pm: And we're back. Italy 3/1 after 1.2 overs. Jones and Tucker opening the bowling for Bermuda today. Tucker claims his first wicket on a  fine catch by Manders.

2pm: Lunch break - we'll be back at 2:45pm. Uganda had 175 (49.5) against the USA while Nepal is 148/7 (44.0) against Oman.

1:51pm: 250 all out (50.0) That's the best Bermuda has batted all tournament and sets a very defendable target. Cann 113 (6 4s, 11 6s) off of 48 balls. Manders 64, Hemp 36, Tucker 19, Jones 19.

1:49pm: I'll stand up and applaud! Cann 113 before he is bowled. He had a two and two 6s. well done.

1:45pm: Bermuda Cann on 99 with Bermuda at 266/8 (49.0) I'll update after the last over.

1:30pm: Bermuda 230/7 (45.2) Cann 76, Jones 8. The free-swinging Cann now has eight 6s to go along with his three 4's. Jones is on eight taking his shots when available.

1:15pm: Bermuda 195/7 (42.0) Gibbons was clean bowled by Minasinghe for zero runs. But Cann is the story at the moment. He is on 47, but pulled back on his master blaster ways by picking up singles. Jones is in with him. You can probably expect them to start pressing down omn the throttle again to run the total up.

1pm: Bermuda 179/6 (38.0) Two huge overs for Bermuda as they continue to pile up the runs. Tucker was caught on 19 though. Cann is in a groove and has blasted five 6's as part of his 34. Pennazza now has two wickets for Italy.

12:45pm: Bermuda 151/5 (36.0) Hemp was out lbw for 36. Cann (9) and Tucker (17) now at the wicket.

12:30pm: Bermuda 131/4 (33.0) Hemp on 34 and Tucker on 7. Hemp's score is Bermuda's second highest for the tournament. It's great to see the bats coming alive today. Four different Italian bowlers have taken a wicket.

12:15pm: 116/4 (28.0) Manders brilliant run comes to end on a catch by Crowley. He finished witha  64 - with seven 4s and three 6s. Hemp is on 27

Noon: Bermuda 100/3 (24.0) Manders is a real breath of fresh air for Bermuda's batting attack. He's on 44 and Bermuda should easily surpass the totals they had against Uganda and Nepal, which should mean they will be in position to win this match. Manders has 6 4s and 3 6s. Hemp is on 18.

11:45am: Bermuda 67/3 (19.0) Outerbridge was out lbw for 12 runs. David Hemp is now in. Manders has pushed on to 40.

11:30am: Bermuda 55/2 (14.4) Manders now on 36 - believe it or not, that is the high score for any Bermuda batsman in this tournament. You should expect he will be in the lineup on Saturday against the US. He has five 4s and a 6. Outerbridge on 7.

11:15am: Bermuda 39/2 (10.0) Manders maiden debut for this tournament is going well. He has 22 off of 39 balls. Outerbridge is on six.

11am: Bermuda 25/2 (7.0) Stovell was caught on two. That's a grand total of two runs for Bermuda's openers. Outerbridge is in with Manders.

10:45am: Bermuda 6/1 (3.5) Douglas is bowled on his first ball and Bermuda gets off to another rocky start. Tre Manders came in and is getting his first taste of the tournament.

10:30am: Dion Stovell and Chris Douglas opening the bowling for Bermuda today. The combo gives Bermuda a lefty-righty set of openers.

10:15am: Bermuda won the toss and elected to bat. The weather is good at the moment. Some rain fell overnight and more is expected at the end of the day.

10am: Today's match is at Somerset. Uganda is taking on the USA at St David's while Nepal and Oman are at the National Sports Centre.

9:30am: Yes, it is still possible for Bermuda to qualify for Division 2. They would have to win both their matches and the US lose both of theirs. Bermuda would also have to drastically improve its run rate, which is the worst in the tournament. It's still possible, but unlikely. A loss today would put Bermuda in serious danger of being dropped to Division 4 — even a win would still leave them in the danger zone as they have the undefeated Americans on Saturday.
