In order to save someone, you have to touch them

In order to save someone, you have to touch them
In order to save someone, you have to touch them

Thank You, Jesus. So many times persons reach a place of hierarchy in their job or in the church and easily forget those who stand in need of their help.

Yet, Jesus did something so amazing that it is needful that you worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Jesus humbled himself and took on the form of flesh so that he could touch and save our lives.

Simply amazing! Jesus is from Heaven; He is the Son of God, who decided to take on the responsibility of reconciliation.

That is, Jesus chose to become the bridge to unite mankind to The Father (God) and reestablish them in a right relationship.

Hebrews 2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

The question is: How important is humanity?  How important are you?

If you have ever had or presently have an issue with low self-esteem, you need to understand today that Jesus Christ, the ever-living Son of God, chose to take on the very nature of mankind to win you back to the Father.

Jesus became as flesh to win flesh back to The Father. That’s how important you are. Do not let that thought slip from your mind.

7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands.

Jesus who had all power, honour and glory agreed to come after the crown jewels of God.

Jesus decided to come and get you back. That’s how much you matter to Him.

What do I mean by that? Well, when God created mankind, it was for His glory. God stepped back and said something after he made mankind.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Genesis 1:31 And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Mankind was the crowning creation that God placed in charge of all that He created.

Hence, the enemy of our soul is not after the trees, dogs, cats and rats to get them to fall and sin.

No!  Satan wants God’s crown jewels.  The Devil wants you, God’s crowning creation, mankind, to fall and sin. Hence the reason Jesus, the Son of God, the Prince of Peace, the Son of Righteousness, chose to, as it were, remove His glory and take on the glory of humanity by becoming flesh.

Jesus understood that in order to save someone you have to touch them.

If someone is drowning, you cannot save him or her by thinking about it.

You have to make contact one way or another in order that they are saved.

And that is the work of Jesus. He became as man so that He could touch our lives and save us from sin and present us back to The Father.

Jesus came to work for us! Jesus had to touch us and become as we are in order to save us.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus understands you because He voluntarily took on the attributes of mankind.

Jesus experienced a time of pain, joy and sorrow, so that He would have compassion when you experience the same emotions.

Know this, that you are not alone. Jesus has already carried your sorrow and grief and whatever it is that you are going through, Jesus will see you through. Respice finem.
