Bermuda is the muse for an upcoming art exhibition that will benefit two local children’s charities.
The show, by members of the International Women’s Club of Bermuda, showcases a variety of mediums across photography and painting.
The show, this Friday, at the ACE Gallery features 40 works of art donated by IWC. The works are available for purchase with proceeds going towards Tomorrow’s Voices and The Coalition for the Protection of Children. The event is being held in March to coincide with Women’s History Month which highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.
An opening reception will mark the beginning of the exhibition and will be held in the gallery this Friday from 5pm to 8pm.
Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served during the event which is open to the public.
All works are available for purchase during the reception by cash or cheque.
The ACE Gallery, located in the ACE Building, 17 Woodbourne Avenue, Hamilton, and is open to the public on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am – 2pm or by appointment for groups. To purchase works after the reception, please contact [email protected] or [email protected].
