Exclusive: Fairmont nightclub The Cellar closes
The Fairmont Southampton’s nightclub The Cellar has been closed down.
The hotel confirmed to the Bermuda Sun the nightclub closed two weeks ago.
The Cellar was run by Dennie O’Connor who also owns Cosmopolitan Night Club in Hamilton (formerly Moon).
On the website Bermudanightout.com, the Cellar was listed as: “Bermuda's premier Top 40's nightlife destination, catering to a discerning audience with higher sensibilities. The exquisitely retro space seamlessly mixes guests at the Fairmont Southampton Resort with locals who enjoy the finer things at night.
"Like its namesake, The Cellar is a hidden haven where attention to detail abounds - stone pillars and wooden beams, rich textures and modern accents, impeccable sound quality and state-of-the-art Led Dance Floor.
