Burgess, Haddrell in command at Port Royal

Cory DeSilva shot a disastrous seven over par today but still managed to hold onto the Bermuda National Stroke Play Championship net lead at Port Royal.

DeSilva;s 78 left him two strokes ahead of Walker Campbell who fired a two-under 69 to help close the gap in what was previously thought an unassailable lead. DeSilva is now eight over after three rounds of play.

William Haddrell is 13 over with Chris Brough +14, Gray Yancy +16 and Shannon Trott +17 having outside shots at the title.

Haddrell does the lead the gross division by a commanding 19 strokes after a one under par today. Chris Brough is at +23 and Arthur Jones is +26.

Elizabeth Parsons leads Ebonie Burgess by three strokes in the Women’s National Stroke Play Championship net division. Burgess shot a one over 72 while Parsons was six over today. Tracy Nash is 11 strokes behind Parson after carding an 81 Saturday.

Burgess, however, leads the gross division by 24 strokes over Parsons, Nash is a further five strokes back.
