Road race titles up for grabs

The 2013 road race cycling championship will take place on Sunday, June 16, starting at Clearwater.

There are four championship titles at stake: Open Male, Open Female, Junior Male and Junior Female.  The junior championship races are for anyone with a racing age of 18 or under.

Those juniors who would normally race in Junior B or Junior C are eligible for this event but the distances are likely to be well beyond their level.

Approximate distances for the championship races are: Open Male - 65 miles Open Female - 32.5 miles Junior Male - 43.2 miles Junior Female - 22 miles
