The motoring public is advised that the following traffic restrictions will be in place to facilitate the Queen’s Birthday Parade along Front Street in the City of Hamilton on Saturday, June 15th2013.
Road Closures
The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic between 9am and 12 noon:
- Front Street between Court Street and Bermudiana Road.
- Court Street between Reid Street and Front Street.
- Burnaby Street between Reid Street and Front Street.
No Parking
The following no parking areas will be in effect between 6am and 12 noon:
- Front Street between Court Street and Bermudiana Road.
- Burnaby Street between Reid Street and Front Street.
The parade gets underway at 10.00 a.m. and as a result, the public is advised that there will be traffic restrictions in place starting early tomorrow morning.
The following units will be participating:
Ø Bermuda Regiment
Ø Bermuda Regiment Band & Corps of Drums
Ø Bermuda Police Service and Bermuda Police Reserves
Ø Bermuda Regiment Junior Leaders
Ø Bermuda Sea Cadet Corps; and
Ø The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Pipe Band
Members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend the event.
Please be advised the Sea Express Ferry Service for the Queen’s Birthday Holiday Weekend on Monday, June 17th is as follows:
Blue Route
Operating on the weekday schedule between Hamilton and Dockyard as of 8:30am from Hamilton, last departure at 9:30pm
Orange Route
Operating on the Monday schedule between Dockyard & St. George’s as of 9:30am from Dockyard, last departure from St. George’s is 5:15pm
Pink Route
Operating on the Public Holiday Schedule between Hamilton, Paget & Warwick as of 10am from Hamilton, last departure at 6pm
Green Route
No ferry services from Rockaway, Cavello Bay and Watford Bridge
