Fantasy Island venue change due to weather

Expected rainy weather over the weekend has forced venue and date changes for Fantasy Island Weekend.

The event is being organised by Keidric Smith of Part People BDA.

Music will be provided by overseas DJs including DJ Magic and DJ Private Ryan alongside local DJs.

The first change is that Freaks at the Beach will no longer be held at Chaplin Bay.

The new venue is Pier 6 on Front Street. The party will be held from 10pm to 3am.

Tickets are $30 at the door and the price will increase as the night goes on in $5 intervals.

There will be an open bar.

Paradis, scheduled for Chaplin Bay on Saturday from 2pm to 8pm has been cancelled.

Fantasy Island, scheduled for Saturday night has been moved to Sunday night.

The event will take place on a secluded island and will feature an open bar.

Fantasy Island will be held from 10pm to 3am with boat’s departing form Darrell’s Wharf.

The last boat will head to the island at 1am.

Tickets are $30 at the door and the price will increase as the night goes on in $5 intervals.

Finally, Atlantis, a BYOB booze cruise will still be held on Sunday aboard the Uber Vida.

Tickets will not be sold at the dock.
