More than 8,500 visitors and crew will descend on the West End today as the Norwegian Breakaway and Celebrity Summit sail into Dockyard.

The new mega-ship is making her fifth 2013 trip of 22, while the Summit is on her seventh voyage of the year.

The West End will remain busy through the weekend with the Explorer of the Seas due to come in on Saturday.

And she will be followed by the return of the Norwegian Dawn on Sunday morning at 11am.

Repairs are continuing on the Grandeur of the Seas in the Bahamas.

So she will not be coming into King’s Wharf on Sunday.

The Royal Caribbean liner is due to miss her next call on June 30 as well before returning to the island on July 14.

Meanwhile the Bermuda Islander will be back in Hamilton again tomorrow, followed on Sunday afternoon by the Oleander.

Finally the Atlantic Explorer is due to set off on her next research expedition from Penno’s Wharf in St George’s on Friday.
