Fram way too strong

Chris Britain and Will Thompson produced a dominant display in the weekend’s Etchells Elvstrom race day hosted by the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.

On board Fram, they won three of the four races and came second in the other to take the race day by five points from John Hele and Tom Clarke on Renegade.

In the IOD LIS Bowl division, Craig Davis — helming Vrengen — was victorious in two of the four races to win with a nett seven. 

In second was Patrick Cooper, on Solna II, who won one race, and finished three points behind.

The J/105 Submarine class was won by Jon Corless who navigated his boat Mayhem to two victories on his way to an excellent overall success.

Dave Bringing and Chuck Milican, on Elusive, came second.
