Hundreds of rubber ducks were today launched in a derby aimed at raising funds for the island’s hospice for the terminally ill.
The rubber duck derby, held in St George’s, raised cash for Agape House and is the charity’s major fundraising event of the year.
Supported by power firm BELCO, the family day also featured live entertainment, bouncy castles, children’s entertainment and food stalls.
Members of the public bought ducks and launched them into the water in the hope of winning a prize for the first over the finishing line.
