Dr Burnie to share his underwater adventures at lecture tonight
Dr Neil Burnie is to hold a talk about his experiences with Bermuda’s shark population and other marine life at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute tonight.
The local veterinarian and co-founder of the Bermuda Shark Project will share tales of his adventures with tiger sharks as well as whales, grouper and lionfish among other surprises.
The talk is part of BUEI's Citizen Science Series is hosted by BUEI Chairman Jack Ward.
Tickets for non-members are $25; or $20 for members. Call: 294-0204. There will be a special menu at Harbourfront — advance purchase required: $39.75 (includes gratuities).
Doors open 6:30pm cash bar; lecture at 7pm.
