Bermuda picked up its seventh medal of the Island Games.
Carl Reid and Ross Roberts finished second in the 50m smallbore rifle team event.
They had a combined score of 1,133, just 10 points behind gold medallists Birger Johansson and Dick Westrom from Gotland.
Tobias Pantke and Pedro Portella of Menorca won the bronze with a score of 1,128.
Roberts was high man for Bermuda with 568 points with Reid close behind at 565.
Bermuda now has two gold, four silver and a bronze. The Faroe Islands are currently second with two gold, two silver and a bronze.
Both track and field and swimming swing into action today at the National Sports Centre. This morning there are heats for the 100m, and 800m as well as the high jump final scheduled to begin at 10:05am for athletics.
Tonight’s finals start at 6pm with the mens 400m hurdles. There will be medals issued in eight events including the 100m for both men and women.
There are 10 heats and prelims for swimming at the National Aquatics Centre. There will be 12 finals tonight starting at 5:30pm.
