Lisa Blackburn was the golden girl for Bermuda once again on day two of the Central American and Caribbean Amateur Swimming Confederation in Costa Rica.
Blackburn won the 200m breaststroke last night to add her 100m breaststroke gold and silver in the 200m individual medley.
Rebecca Sharpe added to Bermuda’s medal haul by taking the bronze in the 100ms backstroke final.
Also on the podium for Bermuda on Monday were Stephanie Myles with a bronze in the 800m freestyle and Shannon Hassell with silver in the 100m backstroke.
Coach Ben Smith said in a press release: “Yesterday morning’s session saw the team look a little flat in the heats. With a combination of no seats at the finals for the previous night and some adjusting to altitude the swimmers were tired and their times were a little off.”
