Ziggy Marley performed songs from right throughout his career at the opening night of the Bermuda Music Festival last night.

Big hits such as Tomorrow People and Love is My Religion were accompanied by covers of his father, Bob Marley’s songs including Lively Up Yourself and Get Up Stand Up.

Local acts Uzimon and Home Grown did the island proud providing crisp support to the international act.

There was a great atmosphere at the Fairmont Beach Club event and the venue was ideal for the thousand plus crowd. There really should be more live shows here in the future.

See our Music Festival coverage in the next issue of the Bermuda Sun.        [[In-content Ad]]
