Bermuda had its second straight easy victory in the ICC Americas Under-15 Trophy.

Bermuda's first team beat Cayman by six wickets as Tre Govia bowled eight overs for three wickets and restricting the Caymanians to just 12 runs.

Cayman was 80 all out while Bermuda replied 81 for 4.

Joshua Gilbert led Bermuda with the bat as he had a fine knock of 27 not out.

Cayman's Kashwayne McKenzie had 12 to be their high scorer while Keishon Wilson tore through the Bermuda batting order in taking three wickets in just two overs.

Bermuda should pick up its third win without a loss as it takes on Bahamas today at Southampton Rangers Sports Club. If the team can get past Canada on Friday, it should set up a mouth-watering clash against the U.S. on Saturday.

It continued to be a learning process for the Bermuda Development XI squad as they suffered an eight wicket loss to Canada.

Canada won the toss and elected to field and bowled the Development XI all out for 82 runs. Canada then surpassed that total in 19.5 overs as they reached 83 runs for the loss of two wickets.

The Development XI have another tough match today as they take on the U.S.

The day's other game saw the U.S., the defending champions, put up a staggering 171 all out against debutants Bahamas in securing a 43-run victory.

Bahamas were only able to get to 128 before being bowled out.

Bermuda, Canada and the U.S are all 2-0 as the three pre-tournament favourites are on form to go 1, 2, 3.[[In-content Ad]]
