Bermuda National Gallery Lunchtime Lecture Presentation
March 15 — John Cox presents a lecture entitled looking at Bermuda Furniture through the eyes of the BNG Collection. Tickets are $5, BNG members get in free. The lecture takes place from 12:30pm–1:30pm.

March 23 — Dr. Gloria Groom, Curator of 19th Century European Painting, Art Institute of Chicago, will present a lecture on Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Montmartre at the Bermuda National Gallery. The lecture is presented by Specialty drinks in association with Goslings. There will be a 5:30pm Reception; 6pm Lecture. Tickets are $15; Members: $5

Open Members’ Show
Until March 15 — Opening at the Bermuda Society of Arts is the Open Members Show in both the Onions Gallery. Opening in the Edinburgh Gallery is Nests by Katherine Harriott. Both shows open from 5:30pm and run until March 15. Third Floor, City Hall. 292-3824.
Members’ Open
Until March 17 — Open at the Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard is the Members’ Open, the show where BACD members get the chance to display their talents. The exhibition is juried. The BACD is open Monday to Sunday 10am-5pm. Call 234-2809.
BERMUDA SHOWCASE AT THE LIGHTHOUSE RESTAURANT
Until March 19 — In honour of Black History Month the Bermuda Showcase presents a show of art with strong African connections by Angela Ming Bean. Scenes from everyday life in Bermuda are also represented in this show. The Lighthouse Tea Room is open every day from 9am to 3pm. Call 238-8679 .

Veuve Cliquot Champagne & Jazz with Gita
March 17 — Join the Bermuda National Gallery for an elegant, entertaining evening of champagne, hors d’oeuvres and the jazz stylings of Gita Blakeney Saltus and the Tony Bari Trio. The event is organised in association with Goslings. Tickets are $20 for non-members, $10 for members and there will be a cash bar. The event takes place from 5:30pm–8pm.
Harvard Krokodiloes & Radcliffe Pitches A cappella Concert
March 29 — Harvard University's oldest and most prestigious a cappella singing group, will perform popular music from the 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's, and 60's at the Bermuda National Gallery. Founded at the Hasty Pudding Club in 1946, they tour the United States and the world, twelve tuxedo-clad undergraduates singing jazz, swing, ballads, and rock from America's Golden Age. The Radcliffe Pitches are a diverse group of undergraduate women who together form Harvard's premiere female a cappella group. They celebrate their passion for music by performing jazz standards and other music for audiences at Harvard and around the world. There will be a 5:30pm reception for 6pm concert.
Tickets are $10 for non-members, $5 for Members.

Walking Club of Bda
March 12 — The Walking Club will walk from Clearwater Beach, Southside, St. David’s. Participants should meet at the parking lot at 7am. The walks are free and all are welcome. There are cut-off points for those who do not want to walk the full distance. For more info call 737-0437.
ZOOM AROUND THE SOUND
March 18 — The Bermuda Zoological Society will hold its 12th annual 7.2 Mile Fun Run/Walk/Roll around Harrington Sound. Entry forms are available at the Bermuda Aquarium Museum & Zoo Front Desk, The Sportseller, Winners Edge or at www.bamz.org. The entry fee is $10 by noon, Friday, March 17, 2006. Registration opens March 18, 2006.

Ya Mama Episode 3
March 16-18 — The third and final episode of The Ya Mama series. Ya Not Gettin’ A Divorce will run at The City Hall Theatre. There will be one performance on March 16 at 8pm, two performances on March 17 at 6:30 and 9:30pm and two performances on March 18 at 6:30 and 9:30pm. Tickets are available at Logic , Eru-Atile on Court Street and Deans Bakery & Deli in Somerset. General Admission is $30.
