WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 19: Up and coming Bermudian hip hop group Victims Of Existence held their album and video release party at Flanagan's Outback Sports Bar last night.
Kari ‘Otis’ Thornhill and John Eric Amaram, who recently signed a digital distribution contract with SunToucher Entertainment LLC, in collaboration with Sony Music Networks, performed to a full audience a number of songs from the new album Against All Odds .
They also released their new video A Place With A Vibe which was recently shot on location. It includes party shots from inside the former Moon Bar on Front Street (now Cosmopolitan) as well as scenes from a private party in a lavish poolside setting as well as shots from around the island.
Victims of Existence formed some ten years ago and the hard work seems finally to be paying off. Their success has taken off since being signed by PlayList Management fronted by CEO Theresa Minors.
The distribution deal was secured through the Sandys based management company and the title track on the album was nominated in the Rap/Hip Hop category of the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA). The winner is to be announced in November.
The album will be available for purchase in a couple of weeks though download sites including iTunes, AOL’s Music Net, the new Napster, Rhapsody, Buy Music, Emusic, and MusicMatch.
As well as digital version there will be some hard copies available in local stores for $20.
