TUESDAY, SEPT. 25: Tickets for the 2012 PGA Grand Slam of Golf will go on sale in the City of Hamilton, beginning tomorrow and continuing through the next three Wednesdays.   Fans of the Grand Slam, played October 22-24, can purchase tickets at the upper level of the Washington Mall from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Tickets sold at the Washington Mall are eligible for the PGA of America’s two-for-one promotion.  Any fan buying a $20 ticket for Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday will receive a second ticket free.  The weeklong pass for all three days is $50 and is also part of the two-for-one promotion.

The promotion was reintroduced two weeks ago after a similar offer last year was very popular among local golf fans.

The Hamilton midday ticket buying opportunity at Washington Mall’s upper level is available on the following dates: September 26, October 3, October 10 and October 17.  Ticket sellers will be on hand from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm and will accept cash and credit cards.

Advance tickets eligible for the two-for-one promotion are also available any day of the week at the Port Royal Golf Course pro shop in Southampton and online at pga.com/grandslam/2012.  The two-for-one promotion ends October 21, 2012.

The year-ending PGA of America event at Port Royal Golf Course will feature 2012 Majors Champions Bubba Watson (Masters), Webb Simpson (US Open) and Ernie Els (Open Championship) as well as 2011 Grand Slam defending champion Keegan Bradley.

The PGA Grand Slam of Golf features the most difficult qualification requirement in the game – a major championship.  The PGA Grand Slam of Golf features a $1.35 million purse, with the winner receiving $600,000, second place $300,000, third place $250,000 and fourth place $200,000.
