But then there aren't many champions like Al-shae and Alvin-ae Landy.
The sisters, still only six and seven, say the catchphrase: "winners find a way," from the blockbuster film, was their motto as they beat a field of young golfers from all over the U.S. and Mexico to come first and fifth respectively in the Pepsi Little People's Golf tournament in Illinois last week.
Alvin-ae won the tournament by ten shots and both the girls drew plaudits from coaches and parents alike for their amazing skills.
"People couldn't believe how young they were," said proud dad Al Landy."
Doing their best
"I just told them to do their best. If they finished 100th that would have been fine I would have just told them to come back next time and try to finish 99th.
"I was overwhelmed by how well they did. This was their first tournament."
Mr. Landy said he couldn't take any credit for the girls' talent.
"It's all them, I don't want no glory, they're doing it themselves.
"Once you light that fire within them, there's no going back. They love to win. Al-shae cries if she gets anything less than a par."
The girls hope to go to at least one more tournament this summer.[[In-content Ad]]
