Summer Sundays set to start on May 1

In making the announcement, City of Hamilton Events Project Manager Ms. Danilee Trott said: “We are starting this year’s season on Sunday May 1 with Soulful Expressions. We have an exciting line up of artists who will be performing between 3:00pm and 8:00pm on Sunday in Victoria Park.

“Featured artists include, spoken word artist Chandra ‘Serenity’ Maybury, The Berkeley Institute Dance Group, Cedarbridge Academy’s String Ensemble, Jonae Smith, Sia Spence and our headliner is Joy T. Barnum.”

“The City of Hamilton is pleased to partner with some of the island’s leading producers to create each month’s fun, free, family event. Members of the public are encouraged to bring their blankets, chairs, picnic baskets and prepare for an afternoon and evening of great local entertainment. There will also be vendors selling food and lots of entertainment for children.
