St. George's youngsters beat Somerset in Mini-Cup Match
East beat West by 26 runs in front of hundreds of spectators at Devonshire Rec.
Justin Carlington was the Most Valuable Player for the boys in navy and blue scoring 38 runs as St George's put up a total of 130 all out in 23 overs.
Carlington also took two catches and bowled a maiden over as Somerset made 104 all-out in reply.
Top scorer and MVP for the west enders was captain Nikeyo Swan, who scored 21 runs, took 2 for 22 and claimed three catches in a solid all around performance.
St George's captain Delray Rawlins, who bowled, kept wicket and scored 23 with the bat, was another stand out player.
The kids were picked from the series of summer day camps. Bermuda's World Cup wicket-keeper Dean Minors, one of the organizers and coaches of the St. George's team, said: "It was a good effort all round by both teams."
