Small Circle Jujitsu celebrates
What has added to the anniversary celebrations is that sensei Shawn Harvey received his first degree black belt in Small Circle Jujitsu on April 29, 2006 in Woburn, Massachusetts. The anniversary celebrations will continue for the full month of May with various activities and seminars.
“This is a great occasion” said Harvey in a press release. “Celebrating three years and receiving a Black belt from the inheritor of Small Circle Jujitsu is a monumental achievement. We are also writing history here because I am the first Small Circle Jujitsu Black belt in the history of Bermuda.”
Harvey said that in October his organization will be holding the first International Youth Grappling Tournament with schools arriving from the U.S.
For those children in the public who are interested in participating in this tournament we will be holding grappling seminars to prepare them for the tournament. “There is no reason why a student (child) from another martial art discipline can't participate in this tournament. This is why we are holding these seminars to increase the awareness” said Harvey. The age group for the grappling tournament will be (4-6) (7-9) (10-12).[[In-content Ad]]
