THURSDAY, MAY 3: Veteran drummer Clarence “Tootsie” Bean will be the star of a concert to be held on Saturday.

The show will take place at 8pm at the Pembroke Hamilton Community Club and is being organised by Atlantic Publishing House and My Thyme Productions.

Alongside Bean will be Dennis Fox, Clarence Burrows and Max Maybury with guitarist Dayton Wharton.

This is the third concert of the Giant Steps concert series.

Organiser Dale Butler said: “A second special feature that is open to all of the island's saxophone players is a "Sax Appeal" that will let you hear from the finest saxophone players in the island.

“This is another special event of Bermuda legends with an opportunity to dance.”

Butler is organizing the event alongside Darlene Hartley.

Tickets are $50 and are available at Music Box.

The first concert held there this year was a sold out event.
