Sandys 360 to offer courses for adult learners
THURSDAY, AUGUST 4: A partnership between Sandys 360 and the Adult Education School will see courses available in the fall for adults.
The partnership was announced today.
Donna Daniels, director of the Adult Education School, said: “After months of discussions the Adult Education School and Sandys 360 have agreed to offer a range of courses for adult learners to prepare for the GED at the Sandys 360 campus at 21 Broome Street, Sandys.
“Courses will commence in the fall and will be delivered by instructors from the Adult Education School.”
Dr. Melvyn Bassett, managing director of Sandys 360, added: “This new partnership helps Sandys 360 to realise its mission of encouraging the total development of people in our community – their physical, social, cultural and academic development.
“We are very pleased that the Adult Education School, the largest and oldest alternative school in Bermuda, has agreed to partner with us.”
Members of the public who wish to obtain more information about the courses on offer can attend an information session on August 9 at 7pm at Sandys 360.
