I loved the Bermuda Sun's "Next Generation" cover photo in last Wednesday's edition of the newspaper. The leaders may want copies for their scrapbooks.
In a separate matter, I like the idea of free buses. It is an incentive I have long believed would work along with other options.
One of my favourite ideas is for businesses to be more involved. After all, government is not the only employer.
Businesses can be inspired to come up with creative ideas for traffic reduction that would work well for their business and employees and offer incentives for participation. Government can be supportive by offering a special award for the most creative traffic reducing project of the year.
Private schools may want to follow the example of Somersfield Academy (Montessori) who have their own school bus now.
