By Ministry of Public Works- | Comments: 0 | Leave a comment

TUESDAY, APR. 19: Minister of Public Works Derrick Burgess today advised that the Highways Section will be carrying out repairs to a section of Coot Pond Road by Tobacco Bay, and traffic restrictions will be in place for one month.

Starting from tomorrow, 20 April 2011, traffic will be restricted to one-way only from Naval Tanks Hill to Barry Road and no heavy trucks will be permitted to use the road with the exception of emergency vehicles and other Government service vehicles.

These works are being undertaken to stabilize the edge of Coot Pond Road that has been undermined by erosion.

The Ministry of Public Works encourages the cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
