WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21: There are parties galore this Christmas with everything from raves to live music and boat cruises to beer pong.

If you are still wondering what you are doing this Christmas, here are a selection of the island’s festive parties. See Friday’s paper for our list of New Year’s events.

Wednesday, December 21:

Swizzled Santa Party:
Where
: The Beach Bistro (changed from Muse), Hamilton
Time: 10pm to 3am
Reggae singer/songwriter Fiyah Marshall is to perform live ahead of the release of his new album Blazin’. What’s more the proceeds from the event will go towards the Alex Jones Olympic Campaign 2012. Santa will be swaggering home if he turns up at this party — swizzles are just $2 a pop and there is 10 gallons waiting to be guzzled.
There are also free shots for the ladies, $4 Bacardis all night and a beer pong and other drinking games with prizes. Revellers should turn up in their Santa hats. Also featuring DJ Shirlaz of Lifestyles Entertainment.
“Just when you thought Christmas was gonna be boring and the same old same old we bring you the Swizzled Santa Party,” said organizers.

Friday, December 23:

Christmas Rave:
Where
: Docksiders, Hamilton
Time: 10pm until 3am
Tickets: Advance tickets $15 available at Docksiders and Sovereign Jewellers on Reid Street or $20 on the night at the door.
Organizers have revived one of the best dance parties of the summer for its one and only Christmas instalment. Featuring DJs Smokey, OB1, Einstein, Supa J and Chels, spinning dance, house and techno. Glow sticks, finger lights, strobe lights, black lights, fog machine and snow machine will all be present with additional speaker towers for even bigger party vibes. There will be drink specials all night on Black Seal, Absolut and Corona, provided by Gosling’s. As usual neon attire and accessories are encouraged. ID will be required.

Welcome Back College Party Christmas Edition:
Where
: Moon Nightclub & Lounge, Hamilton
Time: Doors open at 10pm
Tickets: $15 from Kit & Caboodle, DJs and event administrators.
The kid’s are back in town and looking for like-minded party-goers to celebrate the festive season with.
They should look no further than Moon Nightclub and Lounge.
All college students get in free before 11pm with valid college ID and there will be drinks specials on selected brands.
Music will be provided by YGS & Rusty G, DJ Atec and New Era.

Naughty Nuvo Christmas:
Where
: Rumbar, Hamilton
Time: 10pm onwards
Tickets: Ladies $10, gents $20
The party people at Rumbar couldn’t wait until Christmas to celebrate this year.
Organizers say: “t’was two nights before Christmas and all over town
was the sound of iMega, Jyrus & Twin shutting it down! You’ve never experienced this side of Christmas.”

They are kicking off Christmas two days early, “in a naughty way” and will have a special gift for the ladies.
The party will introduce Nuvo Lemon Sorbet to Bermuda billed as “the sexiest drink of the winter season”.
 There will be Nuvo Pink drink specials for all ladies wearing something pink or yellow.
“The more Nuvo, the naughtier it gets!”
They will also be giving away two bottles of Nuvo Yellow to the best-dressed ladies at the party.
Dress code is pink or yellow (preferred but not mandatory).
Ladies should come stylish and sexy.
No T-shirts, baggy jeans or white sneakers for the gents.

Saturday, December 24:

Twas the Night before Xmas:
Where
: The Wine Cellar, Fairmont Southampton Hotel, Southampton.
Time: 9pm to 3am
Tickets: Admission is $20 or $10 for students with valid ID.
Go dressed with a touch of red and green to the annual pre-holiday party featuring DJ Chubb and DJ Aztec.

The Christmas Eve Ugly Sweater Party:
Where
: Docksiders, Hamilton
Time: 9:30pm to 3am
Tickets: Advance tickets are $10 or $15 at the door with an ugly sweater, $20 without
At last there is a good use for that ugly sweater your nana knitted you for Christmas. There will be prizes and giveaways to those who turn up with the most atrocious designs courtesy of Sovereign Jewellers. Dockies will be running beer pong and flip cup all night with beer specials to keep the games flowing.
Top 40 tunes all night by DJ Smokey and DJ Scoobay. There will also be cocktail and shot specials with Heineken and Smirnoff, courtesy of Burrows and Lightbourn and additional Christmas jello shot give-aways.

Sunday, December 25:

Tony Bari Plays Your Christmas Favourites:
Where
: Beau Rivage Restaurant, 27 Harbour Road, Paget.
Time: Brunch 12-3pm, dinner 7-11pm

Tony Bari is a gifted pianist from Boston, Massachusetts. He worked in Las Vegas, New York and Miami before travelling the world as a musical director for various cruise lines and then settling in Bermuda over 25 years ago. Bari will be Rocking Around The Christmas Tree for this festive dining experience.

Christmas Day Brunch and Gala Dinner:
Where
: Harbourview Ballroom at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess, Hamilton.
Time: Brunch is at 11:30am to 3:30pm and the gala dinner is from 6pm to 9pm

Boxing Day Rave (all electronic music):
Where
: 1 Shed Dock in front of Pickled Onion to board UberVida
Time: 1pm for 2pm departure – cruise ends at 6pm
Tickets: Advance tickets only for $20.00.
The organizers of this day-time rave featuring electronic music only are expecting the event to sell out. Cash Bar — No cards accepted. BBQ available.

Puss in Boots Boxing Day Party at Moon
Where
: Moon Nightclub and Lounge, Hamilton
Time: 9pm to 3am
Tickets: Advance tickets are $25 from Kit N Caboodle, Jazzy boutique, event DJs. You can call 705-2109 or the BlackBerry pin # 21F58428 for ticket delivery. There is more information available via Facebook.
He performed at the Caribbean Carnival in New York, Miami Carnival and created a tidal wave at Snorkel Park. Now Hot 97 FM New York, Big Dawg Pitbulls DJ Young Chow is back by popular demand to a more intimate setting at the Moon nightclub Front Street for one of the most popular party series of 2011 Puss N Boots — The Boxing Day Party.
Young Chow is hot on the NY club scene now and you can catch him on BET 106 & Park.
Organizer Rowan Ramotar said: “He brings with him a certain type of party energy that is not seen very often in the club scene. He told me he is ready to invade the Moon so patrons better be ready to party like never before. So I urge everyone to come and witness a master at work.”
This is a class DJ for a class venue.” This will probably the last Bermuda will see Chow for a while as his schedule is booked until July 2012.
