Overhanging branches affect trash collection

By Ministry of Works and Engineering- | Comments: 0 | Leave a comment

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 6: The Ministry of Works and Engineering is appealing to residents in areas with overhanging branches and low hanging wires to either cut back and remove branches or contact the relevant utility regarding their wires.

Low hanging wires and branches present a serious safety threat to Waste Management workers and as such certain communities have not had their household waste collected.

Once the branches are removed or the wires secured, residents are asked to contact the Collections Department of Waste Management at 292-1517 to resume regular garbage collection.

The Ministry remains grateful for the public’s cooperation in this regard.
