Panto preview
Oh yes it is...that time of year again
The panto, which tells the story of Crusoe’s shipwreck on a ‘desert’ island, runs until December 17. The six dancers, all current or former students of CedarBridge, play the islanders and other dancers. Choreographed by JoAnna Powell, the six say that although it’s been hard work, they can’t wait to perform for audiences. They said, “It’s very fun working together, we laugh with each other. We all get along [and] it’s hard work but it’s fun, and we’ll celebrate at the end.”
Powell, who has been choreographer for the pantomime for the past three years, added, “It’s been fun, I’ve had a good time…we always have a good time at it.”
The pantomime takes place at City Hall each evening at 7.30pm, with matinees on Saturdays and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets are $25 and are available at www.bmds.bm or at the City Hall box office one hour prior to performance.
