Obituary: Cora Anette Woods-Stevens

Cora Anette Woods-Stevens also known to her loved ones as "MICKI" was born February 20, 1956 born in Henderson NC to the late Frank  and Cora Woods. She attended school in Henderson NC then moved to Jersey City NJ. As a young woman Cora married David Melvin Stevens then moved to Bermuda for 20 years. Later moved to the states and resided in Atlanta GA with a very dear friend Vernel Lightbourne, until her untimely passing.

Cora was preceded by her father Frank Woods, mother Cora Woods, brother Daniel Woods, and two sisters Valerie Taylor-Norman and Eunice Brandon. She is survived by brothers Frank Woods of N.C, Joel Woods of N.C and Christopher Woods of GA.  Also her sisters, Ernestine Henry of Fla, Pamela Jackman of NJ, Audrey Woods of NJ, Victoria Negron of NJ, and Sharon Bradley of NJ. Micki leaves behind a host of cousin, nieces and nephews.  She was truly loved and will always be missed and never forgotten.

Cora's memorial will be held on Saturday January 26, 2013 at  Reliance Hall 6081 Reliance Ave, Mays Landing NJ 08330 at 4pm-8pm. For more info please contact Cristina Morales 609-418-0971
