No mail delivery to Canada due to strike
TUESDAY, JUNE 21: The Minister for Economy, Trade and Industry, Senator, Kim Wilson wishes to inform the public that as a direct result of recent strike action imposed by Canadian postal workers, Canada Post has suspended all mail operations until further notice.
All mail destined for Canada and delivered to the Post Office during this period will be held and secured in Bermuda and forwarded to Canada upon the resumption of normal postal operations by Canada Post.
Bermuda Post Office apologizes for any inconvenience resulting from the mail delays to Canada and will notify the public once normal mail operations resume.
