Comedy/drama
Yet another movie from prolific writer/director/ producer Tyler Perry - it's starting to feel like he churns out one a week.
This comedy-drama is a sequel to his 2007 smash-hit Why Did I Get Married - which topped the box office chart and took more than $50 million - and his first follow-up not to feature foul-mouthed senior Madea.
The movie picks up where the original left off, with four couples reuniting for their annual vacation to socialise and analyse their marriages.
But the intimate week is interrupted by an unexpected visitor who wreaks havoc on one couple's relationship.
Each set of spouses then realises they have their own marital issues to confront, ranging from a lack of trust to boredom.
The movie flits between drama and comedy although none of the gags are a patch on last year's similar-themed Couples Retreat.
Perry plays nice guy Terry, who wants to reconnect with his wife Dianne, while Janet Jackson is Patricia, a self-help author who must confront flaws in her seemingly perfect marriage.
But the star of the show is Tasha Smith as sassy and loud Angela, who suspects hubby Marcus is cheating.
