Animation/family
The craze for 3D continues with this fun family film - a charming and comic tale with vibrant animation and a cracking cast.
Saturday Night Live favourite Bill Hader provides the voice of our hero Flint Lockwood, an inventor in a small town who dreams of helping others.
Sadly, his creations are useless, especially his spray-on shoes and monkey thought translator.
But one day he invents a machine that can turn clouds into food, offering a solution to world hunger.
He is praised as a genius - until things go wrong and excess amounts of food start falling from the sky like a rainstorm and overload his town.
The geeky Flint is endearingly sweet and likeable for a mad scientist, while Anna Faris serves up some great gags as a weathergirl reporting on the phenomenon ("meatier shower" anyone?).
There are plenty of jokes for all ages and stunning visual effects, so while Cloudy does not have the heart or stunning artwork of Pixar's Up it will still be a big hit with adults and kids alike.
And any movie that has A-Team legend Mr. T and Evil Dead hero Bruce Campbell has to be a winner.
Watch if you liked: Up.
