A Bermudian MC who has been studying overseas returns to the island with the message there is “Hope for the Hood”.

Jason Clarke, aka MC Kombat, wants to share his story of how ­music has kept him on the straight and narrow.

Kombat’s performance is tonight at the Chewstick headquarters on the corner of Court Street and Elliott Street. It will offer a sneak preview of his upcoming mixtape  Hope for the Hood. His performance follows this young man’s  journey to reacquaint himself with his home.

Tickets are $20 with part proceeds in aid of The Chewstick Foundation. The show begins at 8pm.
