FRIDAY, JAN. 13: A new exhibition opened at Bermuda College this week featuring the work of artists who share a love of Bermuda and photography.

In Plain View by Dr Jolene Bean, Ed Smith and Stephen Dyer, is made up of photos of local scenes.

Mr Smith, also a senior art and design lecturer at the college said: “We hold each other accountable by giving weekly assignments that each must present as we meet to discuss successes, techniques and aesthetic considerations.”

Dr Bean added: “The purpose of this collection is to draw your attention to local scenes that you might otherwise pass by without a second glance. Hopefully, you’ll take a moment to look closely at these photographs and see the beauty in ordinary things.”
