FRIDAY, OCT. 26:

EE-eagle
On the par-4, 14th hole, Keegan Bradley drained a pitching wedge from 129 yards out for an eagle.

Ruby red laces

Padraig was sporting red shoe laces in his white golf shoes, in support of the Special Olympics for whom he serves as a global ambassador.

Back in black
Webb Simpson wore head to toe black on Wednesday, perhaps in support of his Alma Mater Wake Forest University which is playing Clemson in the ESPN College Football Thursday Game.

Paddy Gilmore
Padraig Harrington showed off his Happy Gilmore style warm up routine on the range on Wednesday. He has said that practicing the “Gilmore” drive is a great way to loosen up and drill down on his hand-eye coordination.

Grand-Paddy

Padraig Harrington is the oldest of the four competitors at 41; Bubba Watson is 34; Webb Simpson is 27 and Keegan Bradley is 26.

Alone on an island
As his playing partners enjoyed the majestic view off the eighth green, Padraig stood alone and quietly drained a 36-foot putt for birdie.
According to Keegan Bradley, “That view, no matter where you are in the tournament or how you’re playing, you kind of have to stop and look at it, because it’s as good of a view on a golf course as there is in the world.”

Bogey free

Webb finished the final round with an 8-under-134, and was the only golfer to play a bogey free round over the two-day event. According to Webb, “But I’m really encouraged with how I played today. Wish I could have probably had that shot back on 18, the iron shot. I just came out of it. But overall, good day, and you know, it’s been a great week.”

First class finish
Despite a tough two days, defending Champion Keegan finished off his second round with a birdie, which gave him a tie for third with Bubba.

Thrill of the chase
Despite shooting an even par 71 on Day 2, Bubba was still the life of the party, creating an upbeat mood for fellow players and fans, all while grinding to chase down Padraig on the back nine. “You know, it was just a good day. Just got some loose swings trying to create some stuff when Padraig was playing so well. Stuck in the tree and chose the wrong club on the par-3, 16. Made a quick double there and I was out of it,” commented Watson.
