God is the planter and provider for you to spring forth

FRIDAY, FEB. 3: I want to go back to the garden. That is, the Garden of Eden.

You serve a caring God who has provided His very best for you. The question to ask is, ‘What have you done with what God has given you?’.

God’s pattern or way of doing things is a most excellent example for mankind to study and model their lives after.

When you look at the ways of God, you can see that God is a planter, a planner, and a provider.

When God plants, He already knows what its end shall be. God knows our end from our beginning.

Isaiah 46:9-10
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure…

Have you ever tried to grow flowers or vegetables? Most times you purchase the seeds in a packet, and see a picture of what the seeds are expected to bring. You want what is shown on the picture to come forth.

That is how God looks at you. God knows what you have and who you are, because He made you. He knitted your being together while you were yet in your mother’s womb.

Hence, God sees you as He has designed your end to be. That is why no matter what you go through or what you are into, God will not ‘give up’ on the picture that He has not only painted, but has also purposed in your life.

It is you who must choose to line up with God’s purpose for your life so that you become all that God would have you to be, and so that you live a truly happy and fulfilled life.

The only way to truly live the best life is to live the life that has already been blessed and preordained by God.

Let’s go back to the packet of seeds. Now, while each seed has potential within it, there is no guarantee that all will be well. Much will have to do with you.

That is, how will you prepare the ground, plant in it and watch over it?

Seed to flower or fruit manifestation takes some tender love and care.

True care is planting a thing and providing every essential tool or help so that what is planted can grow to its fullest potential. That is what God did.

God planted a garden and then He provided a key substance — water. Without this it will be a garden in drought, which will not yield forth its potential.

Even before God placed Adam in The Garden of Eden, God provided a water source, a mist, which would keep the garden in a state of readiness.

It made no sense for there to be rain or a mass production of water works yet. Water would mean fruit and vegetables would be produced, but there was not a man made yet to look after them. So, there was a simple mist to keep the ground moist and ready.

Genesis 2:5-8
5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Once God made Adam, He then placed him in the midst of the garden. Now that a man was there who could look after that which would be planted, God was now going to allow the full flow of water.

God is so much a God of order. He will see to it that nothing is planted that cannot be cared for or provided for.
