Your average golf afficionado would have been able to give you a bit more information, but he was hardly one of the big names on the PGA Tour until he won the rain-soaked Open on Monday.
So who is this man that now completes half the field (along with Angel Cabrera) that will be competing in the PGA Grand Slam of Golf this October at Port Royal?
