Giant Steps concert to showcase Bermuda talent
FRIDAY, JAN. 6: A concert featuring an impressive lineup of local talent will take place on January 22.
The event, Giant Steps 2012, is being organised by Darlene Hartley of My Thyme Productions and Dale Butler of Atlantic publishing House.
It will take place at the Pembroke Community Club featuring Jade Minors, Dennis Fox, Clarence Bean, Stan Gilbert, Wendell Shine Hayward, Sheila Smith and Professor Keith Caisey.
Mr Butler said: “Giant Steps 2011 featuring The Legends was a sell-out and I have no doubt that this first concert for 2012 with so many of Bermuda's talented performers will sell out.
“We anticipate at least eight concerts this year and this first one will set the pace for the rest.
“Already tickets have been sold revealing there is a thirst for local entertainment.”
He continued: “Every player has a reputation in the world of music and have reached celebrity status.”
Tickets for the concert are $50 and include refreshments.
