TUESDAY, DEC. 14: Several Furniture Flair staff members will be made redundant following a change of store ownership.

The furniture store is now owned by Alex DeCouto, who is also president of Greymane Contracting Ltd.

In a press statement today, Mr. DeCouto said: “Furniture Flair are authorized dealers for a number of outstanding brands like Teknion, Milliken and Hunter Douglas.

“Consolidating operations will allow us to make an investment in the marketing of these brands to the public and the design community, as well as to fit out a fantastic Furniture and Flooring Resource Center in the near future.”

Staff members who are laid off as part of the restructuring will receive severance packages.
