And four straight defeats against the Dutch and Denmark extended Bermuda's terrible run in the limited overs format of the game. After 14 games against international opposition this year, Gus Logie's men have only one victory - their World Cricket League win over Scotland in Kenya in January.
There were a number of mitigating circumstances on this latest tour - with several of the island's best players unavailable for selection.
And those that did travel deserve some credit for putting themselves on the line for their country.
But the player-by-player stats make an uneasy read for Bermuda cricket fans.
James Whittaker takes a look at how they fared.
Irving Romaine
Intercontinental Cup (Four-Day) Stats
Innings: 4
Total runs: 158
Top Score: 103*
Average: 52.66
Bowling: 0 for 52 from 23 overs
Limited Overs Stats
Innings: 4
Total Runs: 18
Top Score: 17
Average: 4.25
Bowling: 3 for 59 from 12.2 overs
The only Bermuda batsman to score a century on tour, Romaine showed decent form in the four-day game.
He didn't get many good starts and the encouraging thing was that when he did get in, he went on to get a big score.
More worryingly, the skipper is still a very shaky early on in his innings and was unable to make an impression in the limited overs game.
Stephen Outerbridge
Intercontinental Cup (Four-Day) Stats

Total runs: 103
Top Score: 53

Limited Overs Stats
Innings: 4
Total Runs: 62
Top Score: 24
Average: 15.5
Finally broke his run of bad form with back-to-back half centuries against Bermuda's toughest opponent - Ireland.
In the context of a tour where Bermuda's batsmen only passed fifty on four occasions, to do it twice in one match is a major milestone. But it was much needed for Outerbridge after his consecutive ducks against Holland. Overall his stats suggest he was one of the better players on the tour, but he is vice-captain now and one of the few players in the squad with experience at this level and big runs will be required from him in future if Bermuda are to compete.
Jekon Edness
Intercontinental Cup (Four-Day) Stats
Innings: 4
Total runs: 29
Top Score: 15
Average: 7.25
Limited Overs Stats
Innings: 4
Total Runs: 43
Top Score: 22
Average: 10.75
By all accounts he was tidy behind the stumps and looks to have some ability with the bat.
But he didn't turn potential into results on this tour. He has big shoes to fill after the retirement of Dean Minors as wicketkeeper/batsman.
Dwight Basden
Intercontinental Cup (Four-Day) Stats
Innings: 2
Total runs: 29
Top Score: 22
Average: 14.5
Limited Overs Stats
Innings: 4
Total Runs: 14
Top Score: 7
Average: 3.5
Elevated to the senior national team late in his career, Basden didn't exactly sieze the opportunity with both hands.
He's been a solid club player for years but the jump in class to international level is a big one and he found life tough on this tour.
Lionel Cann
Intercontinental Cup (Four-Day) Stats
Innings: 4
Total runs: 94
Top Score: 38
Average: 23.5
Limited Overs Stats
Innings: 4
Total Runs: 99
Top Score: 35
Average: 24.75
Bermuda's top scorer overall on the tour and the most consistent batsman.
But, still, Cann will have been disappointed not to have played at least one big innings. He was out in the 20s and 30s every time, failing to go on from good starts to score a fifty or a century.
The big-hitter is adapting to a new role in the team - higher up the order and with more responsibility. From being a late order 'finisher' he is now the man, along with Romaine, that Bermuda are looking to, to score the bulk of their runs.
James Celestine
Intercontinental Cup (Four-Day) Stats
Innings: 4
Total runs: 69
Top Score: 31
Average: 17.25
Limited Overs Stats
Innings: 4
Total Runs: 100
Top Score: 78
Average: 25
One of the few qualified successes of the tour, Celestine showed enough to suggest he can mix it at this level.
Struggled to curb his aggressive instinct at times, but a top score of 78 against Denmark and a couple of semi-decent knocks in the four-day game showed he has the promise to take his prodigious run-scoring at domestic level to the international game.

Top Score: 17*
Average: 25.5
Top wicket-taker on the tour and one of the top bats as well.
Even as Bermuda struggle, Leverock continues to do well. Of course, it's all relative and this was far from Sluggo's best tour in Bermuda colours.
The batsmen got after him at times and he didn't turn in any of the match-winning figures and miserly economy rate that he has in the past.
Still, he was one of Bermuda's top players on the tour and after batting at seven against Ireland he can perhaps now claim to be an all-rounder.

Always a consistent performer Steede made a solid return to the national team. Amid the carnage against the Netherlands, as they amassed 315 in their 50 overs, he returned impressive figures of 1 for 38 in ten.
He would have liked to take more wickets, particularly in the Intercontinental Cup, where penetration is the name of the game. But on the whole he'll be relatively happy with his personal performances.

Steady, but unspectacular. Pitcher kept things reasonably tight with the ball but picked up just one wicket on the tour.
Opened up with one for 28 in nine overs against Denmark - his best showing of the tour. Didn't really contribute with the bat.
George O'Brein

Batting: Four runs at 2.0 average
The only bowler to take a five-wicket haul on the tour, O'Brien's fiery pace was Bermuda's biggest weapon - particularly in the longer form of the game.
He's a genuine strike bowler but also showed he could work hard for his team bowling 32 overs in an innings against Holland.
He was very expensive in the one-day game, though, and struggled with injury problems early on in the tour.
Jacobi Robinson

Overs: 12
Wickets: 1
Runs Conceded: 69

Economy Rate: 5.75
Batting
Innings: 3
Total Runs: 36
Top Score: 17
Average: 12
No-one exemplifies the gulf in class between domestic and international cricket better than Robinson.
Averaging virtually 100 with the bat and one of the leading bowlers in the Premier League at home, he was unable to bring anything like that form against international class opposition.
His tour was blighted by injury and he will surely have more opportunities to prove himself. But it takes time to acclimatize to this standard of cricket.
Roderick Masters
Intercontinental Cup (Four-Day) Stats
Played only one game. Scored 8.
Limited Overs Stats
Innings: 2
Total Runs: 0
Top Score: 0
Average: 0
Originally selected as back-up wicket-keeper Masters was thrust into the limelight as a frontline batsman as injuries hit Bermuda's plans.
Unlikely to get a recall to the squad unless Bermuda's player crisis continues. The scores suggest he's not ready for this level of cricket at this time.
Malachi Jones, Stefan Kelly and Rodney Trott
Arrived from the Under-19 campaign to bolster Bermuda's efforts against Ireland, but had little impact.
Stefan Kelly was the only one to pick up a wicket and none of the trio contributed with the bat. It was always going to be tough to come in for one game against an opponent of the quality of Ireland and there are surely better things to come from these three, who will be a big part of Bermuda's plans in the future.[[In-content Ad]]
