Extra showings for three BIFF films
You now get three chances to see Rare Bird, the story of Bermuda’s Cahow by local filmmaker Lucinda Spurling at the ninth Bermuda International Film Festival.
The festival announced on Monday that there will be additional screenings of both Rare Bird and China Blue, a deep-access account of what both China and the international retail companies don’t want us to see — how the clothes we buy are actually made. Both films are part of the festival’s competition documentary line-up.
Rare Bird’s additional screening will take place at the Little Theatre on Sunday March 19 at 1.30pm. China Blue’s extra screening will be at the Tradewinds Auditorium at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute on Friday March 24 at 9pm.
Extra tickets have also been released for the BIFF Kids Film, Viva Cuba, and the documentary film, King Leopold’s Ghost.
Viva Cuba screens on Sunday March 19 at 4pm. at the Tradewinds Auditorium at the BUEI. King Leopold’s Ghost, based screens on Friday March 17 at 7 pm at the Tradewinds Auditorium, and on Sunday March 19 at 9 pm. at the Little Theatre
