Emergency power outage planned for Southampton Saturday

The following areas will be affected:

• St. Anne’s Church
• Church Road
• Turtle Bay Lane, Crescent and Drive
• Welcome Place
• Port Royal Lane, Gardens and Mews
• Admiral Lane
• and the related portion of South Road

BELCO is doing the work on a Saturday, rather than during the week, because Port Royal School and Chatterbox Preschool are in the affected area.  This interruption is required so that crews can safely transfer wires to a new pole on Church Road and do related work in underground vaults.

BELCO thanks customers in the Church Road area for their cooperation, as essential work is done to maintain and enhance system reliability.
